It's a fact that St George Street hookers live at this "bed and breakfast". Drugs, prostitution and a whole slew of scum live here! My husband and I stayed for one night and got to know the "girls". They're hookers! My husband and I would have left the day we checked in except Moncton was sold out of any rooms. We were completely disgusted with the condition of the room. The pictures says it all. The only good thing was the owner gave us our money back.
I would like to say how disappointed I am by this review. When the money was refunded, both parties agreed that there would be no repercussion but alas : The room had been done up by a new employee who was in training, as I was bed ridden following an operation.
Room was fine but the rest of the experience was horrible I had made it very clear to the manager of the hotel that I needed a secured and quiet room because I had not had a good night sleep in a secured environment for the past 3 nights. He reassured me he would advise the working ladies coming back from their night shift to be quiet when they arrive back from their work. Around in the morning I was awaken by a group of woman yelling, banging at my door and trying to open my door.
After awhile and because one of the woman was trying again to open my door, as this was not acceptable and nobody from the premices were handling the matter, I stepped outside of the room to show that there was somebody occupying the room and also to tell them to keep quiet. They continued for a certain period and walked away in the building. Trying to get back to sleep was impossible after that.
As I felt not secured at all I had to put a chair and the fridge in front of my door and I can no longer step outside and have access to the bathroom as I fear for my security. I have a picture and voice recording, I did not think to record the whole event from the start as I was in a panic mode trying to get my ideas together when it all started, but only from that recording you will understand the situation.
