Oscar's place was absolutely a perfect ten. For our taste, there was nothing that I would change. We wanted a rustic, quiet setting, and it was exactly that. The property was magical. We never wanted to leave. The on site staff was very helpful, and Oscar was very responsive in answering our questions. We will try to be a regular at Oscar's place. Our second time at Oscar's in 1 month. We enjoy the privacy and seclusion. No need to leave the property if you just need to relax. This place is one of a kind.
If you are looking for a place within 5 minutes driving from the town and utterly secluded, this is the place. My girlfriend and enjoyed having fires under the starlight and eating breakfast on the gorgeous patio. Thank you so much Oscar for your hospitality and your home!
Perfect place to have a relaxing time. It's close to the town but far enough to be calm and secluded. Oscar answered all my questions and was available always. Definitely a place to charge back on energy. Besides the natural beauty of the landscape in which the cottage sits on, an extraordinary amount of detail has been put into the interior design of his place to make it just as beautiful.
The facility manager was extremely friendly and lives in a house adjacent to the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and had a few various items stocked in the pantry including coffee and tea.
On the cold nights, we enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit and drinking a hot tea. We had a great stay in Oscar's cabin! Just 15 mins from town and very comfortable. We appreciated the small touches and the decor that makes the space very cozy. This is a great place to stay while you are in Tapalpa. Definitely recommend, I will return. The cabin is great, beautiful and comfy.
