Contact Admin. I read that many of the cheap hotels near the Boat Dock are brothels, so I decided to just turn up without a booking so that I could check the hotels out first.
They did not reply. I went straight there and asked if they had a room. You walk down a corridor to get to the rooms β¦ they have quite a few about My room was smallish but adequate. It even had a small wardrobe. It came with Cable TV and in-room wifi fast enough to stream videos.
The cold water Ensuite was a reasonable size. It was surprisingly good. The chicken soup was without salt and other dishes were very salty. Smoothies are made from previously prepared syrup.
Not so fresh and sometimes too sweet. Despite all this, I give the place 4 stars for excellent service and very good price. This mini hotel and cafetin is across from the bank and so when we are there we step across the street for breakfast. It is not very big but the staff is superb, the food is good typical Nicaraguan food and they have added a little area at the entrance to order fresh fruit and smoothies. A great addition to the cafetin. Making our first pass to check out the town, we spotted this restaurant.
A man sitting at the sidewalk bar volunteered,"the food is good here"! After looking at the nice menu, we ordered lunch; fried chicken with fries and chicken with fresh salad. The atmosphere of country music and Elvis while watching a local baseball game gave us a hint of the local culture.
